Paraplanner
The Paraplanner role is designed for well-organized and self-motivated individuals to provide technical and analytical support to the firm’s Financial Advisors and Wealth Managers in the delivery of advice to clients. Responsibilities include data gathering, financial modeling, plan development, financial analysis, and reporting. May occasionally participate in client meetings in a non-advisory capacity. Training and mentorship will help you build upon your skills with advancement opportunities available.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a business-related field required, CFP education preferred
- One year or more of relevant experience in a financial services firm preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Attention to detail critical
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team structure
- Understanding of client account paperwork such as new accounts, transfers, cashiering, etc.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to learn other planning and organizational software
Responsibilities
- Gather, organize and analyze client data
- Prepare retirement modeling scenarios using MoneyGuidePro software
- Prepare and assemble Investment Policy documents for new clients
- Provide customer service for client onboarding activities and coordinate necessary paperwork
- Track and follow up on client activities using the firm’s CRM system
- Prepare and update various investment and planning reports for clients as directed
- Assist Financial Advisors in preparation for client meetings
- Perform various financial planning analyses as directed
- Perform various administrative duties such as filing and scanning as necessary
This is an on-site position located at our Coral Gables, Florida office.
